The people who sunbathe in the nude, are the people you don't want to see sunbathing in the nude.

It sounds like the real Paris could get arrested if she just walked through
this so-called "Paris" city somewhere in Europe. The world's gone crazy . . . |

Did Muslim agitation and threats make this happen. Or too many fat old Frenchies in speedos?

I find some of the comments on this thread hilarious. If France is becoming "islamicized" for restricting topless sunbathing and g-strings in Paris, then the U.S. is a theocratic Muslim dictatorship.

The city police will be enforcing the rules, and anyone caught baring too much flesh risks a 38 euro (26 pounds) fine. Are they looking for volunteers to measure the amount of exposed flesh?
I'd sure hate to see how the measurements are defined.
Shalom.

This is a great link! I'm leaving for Paris on Monday. I'll have to investigate this for myself.

"Not a word about decency, did mention security and order "
Exactly, its not about morality, its about the fear of unrest, capitulation.

Doesn't it offend their enormous muslim population?
We must think of the muslim sensitivities.

So the Islamization of France continues Nude sunbathing in public parks is common in European cities. I've even seen it in Switzerland, which is ordinarily a pretty conservative place.
France's sudden turnabout has to be a capitulation to the you-know-what religion. Perhaps some mullah threatened to blow up the Louvre if he didn't get his way.

Not a word about decency, did mention security and order.Invariably in Europe these days, "tranquillity, security and public order" are code words for "don't give the Muslims an excuse to riot"

Melissa Theuriau.... Just look at her. A fine specimen of EUropean womanhood. Capable of bearing raising loving many healthy children. But will she do so?

I was wondering how much that played into the decision.
