I have no idea what happened, I just know I picked the wrong career.I sure cant afford a 1st class ticket to Vail much less the costs once I get there. Preaching makes millionaires of some folks.
Oh, I have a feeling they'll be a high price to pay in the end.
Gimme a break! I can't believe you said that!
My wife and I were discussing the situation the other day when it first happened, and she said the media is on the attack as usual and that's the best they can do. If he was like most successful businessmen of any other profession he would be in a private jet. The media can't stand to see Christians being successful in any way.
And then you make a prejudiced statement about him flying first class! Whine! whine! whine! Sound like a stupid dimocrat.
I agree, these people think they are priviledged and can get away with anything. She should have been arrested!
DONATIONS pay for their obscene lifestyle. One that is TAX EXEMPT to top it all.
I can't even afford to fly to Vail so you are richer than I am.
What career did you chose?
They are professional entertainers, and as such are entitled to make money in accordance with the degree to which they are skilled at telling the public what the public wants to hear. ;)
Having a best selling book likely provides much of his wealth.
It's not the Osteen's fault that you are a loser.
Your class warfare whinning is worthy of the Dummy board. Waaahhh, they have more money than me. Why are you doing that?
And bitching makes fools of others.
If you consider his messages preaching. I haven't heard him say to anyone repent of your sins or you're going to hell.
From my understanding, Joel made his money through real-estate, not preaching.
I don't especially care for Joel Osteen or his preaching, but I have no idea if he is a "millionaire." He is the head man of a massive church and ministry that reaches millions of people. He has written best selling books. If he is wealthier than average and wants to fly first class then I will not begrudge him.
Next time you want to shell out money for a 1st class ticket, DON'T. I went first class last week cross country. I got a 1/2 of a turkey sandwich, a small salad and a bag of miniature lemon cookies. When I asked for the "other" half of the sandwich, my request was denied! 1st class is not what it used to be...not by a longshot. (I didn't pay, I used frequent flier miles...I consider it a big waste now).
