I'm with you Safeway stores are fine and are NO DIFFERENT then the other chains.

People don't realize how lucky we are to be able to get safe, quality goods at reasonable prices. It's made possible by the free market. People visiting from Soviet bloc countries were always amazed at our stores.
Groceries are a very competitive industry, and we consumers benefit.
If Safeway was so unscrupulous, it would have been sued out of existence and no one would shop there.
