How the heck is he going to know if his deputies are smoking on their own time? Oh right, I forgot...random drug testing.

If that is how they are going to test it, the deputies better not be eating any tomatoes or eggplant or any other fruit or vegetable that is a member of the nightshade family.........

About the only way drug testing can find evidence of cigarette smoking is to check for cotinine which is a biproduct of nicotine which is found, much like caffeine, naturally in many things we eat and drink.

How would they know if a police officer smokes off duty? Spies,that's how.

A police officer from Fall River,Ma was fired last year based on an anonymous tip.He smoked at a party while off duty and someone reported him.

The astonishing thing to me is that if he had got drunk at the party it would have been okay,since he wasn't on the job.

Go figure!!!!!
