Regarding smoking, I remember in an old Calvin and Hobbes strip, Calvin asked his mom if he could smoke. She just said sure and showed him where his grandfather keeps the smokes. He took a drag and started coughing like crazy.
His mom came out to check on him and said "I hope you learned a lesson today." Calvin said yeah.
Calvin: "Trusting your parents can be hazardous for yur health."
I really don't get the appeal for cigarettes. They are harmful and I'd think that after coughing your lungs out on your first one, you wouldn't want to try another one ever.
But do I think cigarettes should be banned? No. Leave that to the people. It is your freedom to smoke, we don't need Big Guvment to help keep his little peons in line.
I can not smoke just fine thank you very much. :)

Oh yeah I think that "research" is a lie.
Get hooked on your first one. Sure. Ask Calvin and see if he's "hooked".
