MH 6 is a very versatile platfrom.
A few years back..saw the "Ultimate Soldier" MH-6 Little Bird..the detail of the unit and the figures...and was hooked.[Littlebird is huge..visitors ask if it is an R.C. unit]
Just the Bird so far..2 crew with a special flight suite/night vision package.
Ultimate soldier is popular, their web site has hundreds and hundreds of submitted photos .

They have an M1A1 Abrams[just huge]....some wives must be freaking for sure : )
The numbers of helo's that were lost during that opp..and the Guts the aircrews showed..from Medivac..to Hueys which had guys hanging from skids as NVA overran fire bases.

One of the best military reads I have come accross..the guy was not trying to be startling..the raw story line of Dewey Canyon was sufficient.
In one opp to a fire base..several Hueys get hit..some crash and burn..a few birds go down..pilots legging it to extraction points.
A F-4 Phantom pilot saves the day..then punches out from incredble AAA fire..he's running in the jungle.
A guy dropped to do CAS com link is extracted after 2 days of incredible CAS strike packages to save the ARVN firebase..he goes out just as the base is overrun...only to crash on the next firebase..then goes thru the same ordeal.
meanwhile...bird crews and Phantom pilot stay alive while Charlie hunts them.
I simply could not put the book down.
The Bravery and sacrifice ..the real stuff the U.S. Armed services are made of : )
