That is what I was trying to say to Snippy, I don't need thanks, or gratitude (though it warms my heart) just comradeship with good people and the hope that we can make a difference, one person at a time, and continue the fight onward to Victory. I won't see it in my day, I guess, and might even die in bed, which is the last thing I ever expected!!!
SAM, you and your dad remind me of the tough, gallant, proud Polish aristocratic tradition. I'll do one on the Polish decryption of Enigma, (found a new source in Gorlicky) and how this saved maybe a million American asses if you will do a good one on the battle of Warsaw. Those lads deserve to have their song sung as much as anyone's, it was as gallant as Thermopylae, though without such a good ending. Stalin to blame, as he so often was.
