Charlie Camper award"?An old BSA (Boy Scout's of America) tradition. It varies from troop to troop but it basically recognizes a camper that does something really dumb i.e., your comment about poison ivy as TP!
I'm actually a recipient of the award . . . I won't go into details, but let's just say it took years for me to lose the nickname "pyro".

I believe it's crossed burned wiennies on a field of poison ivy, surrounded by a border of black flies and mosquito's.

Just as long as you aren't sitting there with a windows logo floating in your eyes and saying "Beep!".

I'm banned from making, starting, tending, or otherwise being near campfires.
Has something to do with a pillar of fire that was very visible about a quarter mile away and cast shadows at that distance.

Funny part was, I was teh only person within 5 foot of the flames.
Everyone else was thirty feet or more back.
Camp security showed up, an dtehy started chatting with me and roasting marshmallows. They didn't yell at me, they were rather intrigued by the fire an dhow I got it to do that without accelerant.
MY FATHER shows up (he was the one who noticed he had a shadow at night, about faced, and saw the pillar of fire) and yells at me to 'knock it down some please'.
THEN camp security goes, "Oh, yeah! Please drop the size of the fire down."
I moved one log and the fire was down to three foot in height.
I had put it together so that it sucked air through itself and pillar'd. Hard to do with wood constantly burning into embers and falling, one must skillfully replace logs pretty much constantly.
So now I am banned from the campfires.

Hello!
Another excellent thread today. I had the honor of meeting General Tibbetts last fall. There was no doubt in his mind that Truman's decision was correct.
Papa Mike, who was preparing to invade the home islands at the time, also agreed as you might expect. My wife and kids might not be here today without that decision.
I hope you are doing well today!

Did you see him on a tour or were you here and I missed you?
I'm not even sure if he still lives here or not to tell you the truth. If I were him I would have retired somewhere other than here. :)

Thanks Colonel_Flagg.
"Honor" is the word I'd use too in describing a meeting with Col. Tibbets.
