Snippy's Vacation continued;

Sunday July 13

Early this morning we went to the Oregon City elevator. It is an elevator that goes up the side of the hill near SAM's. There isn't a flat place in Oregon, at least not any I saw so anywhere you go involves climbing to some extent in the opinion of this flatlander. lol. I could have used an elevator in places on the Mount Hood loop SAM took me on. LOL. Nah, it wouldn't have been near as much fun.

We continued our day just taking in the local sights, we ate breakfast at a local restaurant and drove to Washington which meant crossing the Columbia river, it was a beautiful drive. We listened to lots of good cd's and SAM sang along on the drive. Another wonderful time and another lovely day in Oregon.

Back to the house to tend to the thread for a while and then on the spur of the moment SAM said, "Wanna go to the zoo?", "Sure", I said. So off we went.

This bird eventually climbed all the way up SAM's arm to his face, lol. I had pictures too but they are gone now

What a wonderful day this would turn out to be although unplanned. We strolled around the zoo and had a fun relaxing afternoon together and some moments I'll never forget. Then back home and more deck sitting, coffee drinking, taking walks, hanging out together and having fun.
