"...well done!"
"It was great!"
"...cool stuff."
"...awesone undertaking..."
"...we enjoyed it."
"Words can't describe, but I would rate it as a 'three hanky presentation'. I thought some of the pictures were really blurry, but it was just the tears in my eyes. What a great job. Kudos, very well done and a round of applause."
"Still a heart-warming, chest-swelling experience even after 4 viewings. What a great presentation."
"AWESOME!!!"

You've got Freepmail.

I had a copy that was supposed to be sent to me to send to the Hobbit Hole's adopted chaplain in Afghanistan...I haven't received it yet...do you know it's status?
I was intending to copy it and send it to the deployed members of my congregation as well.

Received permission to post comments from a
Senior Chief aboard the USS Tarawa which has been at sea over 110 days. Thank you snippy_about_it for sending the CD's.
"I got the VetsCor CD's today. That was pretty awesome! I took them down to the library so everyone can check them out either down there, or take them up to their workspace to view them. I gave the copies of the Constitution to our Career Counselor's office to be included in re-enlistments packages. I'm sure everyone will thoroughly enjoy the CD!"
VetsCoR's main mission is to educate Americans about our Constitutional heritage. Had extra room in the box, so that's what we packed it with.
HAS YOUR MILITARY FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND SEEN HOW MUCH AMERICA APPRECIATES THEM?

A Big bump for great work!

Hi there, they actually have been out about 137 days. The 110 days is how long they have been without a port call!
I just know they are all going to love it and can't wait to hear more as they are passed around the ship! Woo-hoo, thanks VETSCOR for this. You guys are great!
Great idea of adding the Constitution in there! Thanks.

hahaha. And I post my threads there every Monday. Ya think I'd get it! lol.
Between that snafu and the HEY YOU incident...I've totally embarrassed myself with our relationship!

Hey! I got the CD a few days ago...wonderful! The jewel case was broken that it came in, so I put it in a much sturdier one (It's gotta make it to Afghanistan!) I also printed up a jewel case label to go on the front that looks like this...
Hope this is ok! I saved this file and I also saved the CD on my hard drive, so I can make up new ones to send to the deployed in my church. The only thing I don't have is the actual CD label. What program did you use to create it? If I get that program, maybe you can send me your file, then I can make up exact copies of your label and stick it on my own CDs.

Glad you enjoyed it. You can make any kind of label you want...that's not important. Getting the CD out to the Troops is what counts. I used Label Creator by Roxio. If you downloaded it, I'll be be happy to send you the data file.
Do me a favor and let me know via Freepmail what units and/or ships you send to. We'll keep it confidential if you prefer, but would like to know for our records to avoid duplication. Thank you for sending them out. Remember, we'll ship directly, at not cost, if you don't have the time or finances.

I got it sent! Just now got in from sending it. It's going to a chaplain with the 82nd Airborne at Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan...is that enough info?

Three (3) orders out today, bump.
I plan to send out copies to the Senate and House Armed Services committee members (Repub only). If any of you know of a high-level contact in any branch of government, please let me know via Freepmail or my regular email addy below. Since we can't send CD's to military units/ships without personal names, we need points of contact to build interest by military and government power-brokers who would like to assist in distribution.
Additionaly, we have filled a request by a high-profile national media figure and will be following up with him. Do any of you have ANY media contacts?

FYI,
I attended a Memorial Day parade/rally in Redondo Beach, CA and handed out a bunch of CD's to various Active Duty, Veterans, and event organizers.
One of the active Army soldiers said he is sending his CD's directly to the 82nd and 101st Airborne in Iraq, ASAP. A Navy commander said he's sharing one with his command and sending the other to an overseas ship. When I explained the contents to THE event organizer his jaw dropped to hear there was that much support and pro-Troop rallies in the month of March. He thanked us more than I could thank him for putting on the event.

BTTT!

Thanks for the bump, Eastbound. But especially thanks for making SO many copies of the CD
SlideShow Tribute available. The time you took to produce them is much appreciated, and those discs are going out daily. Sometime you'll have to tell me how you "burned" so many copies in the short timeframe we gave you.
I know it cost some to ship that quantity...you are also to be commended for your out-of-pocket shipping expense for, "With Love and Appreciation".
Thank you, Sir.
