Love the song, Sam. I hardly hear songs in Italian and Spanish.
Thanks so much.

The book, "Civil War Trivia and Fact Book", gives many statistics for the War. Gettysburg, for example, had over 51,000 casualties or missing for the two armies. Andersonville Prison has nearly 13,000 Confederate graves, and it's thought that there are more buried there than marked. The numbers for the War are staggering.

"I hear the fife and drum playing Dixie and Bonnie Blue Flag. I see and hear our fire-eating stump-orators tell of the right of secession and disunion. I see our fair and beautiful women waving their hankerchiefs and encouraging their sweethearts to go to the war. I see the marshaling of the hosts for "glorious war." I see the fine banners waving and hear the cry everywhere, "To arms, To arms!"-Private Sam Watkins, CSA
Clemmer's "Valor in Gray" tells a tremendous story of Watkins and his friend, Private William Hughes - I highly recommend it!

NO! Thank goodness I haven't gotten any mail as hate-filled as what you refer to.
Some people just don't like being pinged and sometimes they get nasty about it, when there is no reason to do so.
