I have the privilege of knowing one of the original Merrill's Marauders. The things they went through! Unimaginable. And to think they were made up of young men, many teens, who just did what they had to do (things that would scare the living daylights out of soft-and-cushy people like me!). This man is so humble and unassuming--you'd never know by looking at him what a hero he really is. We owe them so much!

We owe so much to all those who came before us and fought to defend this Country. The very least we can do is remember them and what they did.
