Back during the 50s an American officer was in Britain, and as a courtesy he was invited to a Royal Army officer's club. As the "Yank" was looking at a display, he saw an old tattered 13-star American flag.
A British officer walked up and said, "That flag was taken from Breed's Hill, which you colonials call Bunker Hill. As you can see, we still have the flag."
The American looked at him and said, "Yes, and we still have the hill."
