Thanks Misty...I enjoy the picture route...let the picture tell the story..besides..its easier for a keyboard challenged person like myself.
shift:
Strange weather girl....I'm north of you..and there's no snow on the ground...none.
we might not get any until January...brown Christmas is kinda ugly...a little snow please.
south of me..even in California and Oregon there is more snow.,
we get chinook winds from the coast in the winter..so the cold spell last only a few days..El Nino.or La Nina[which one is in charge now?]..anyway..that current change alters our weather dramatically.
back in 1980..was playing football outside in January on Super Bowl weekend...in a T-shirt.
although its pleasant right now..we are in the second yr of drought..and things look grim for this upcomming year.
2003...need to ask the natives to do rain dances.

You know, I love it in Minnesota. My husband had to go to California last week and he called to say he couldn't wait to get back to Minnesota to get warm! :) He was born and raised in California but the temps there cut straight to your bone, unlike Minnesota. Here you simply freeze first! LOL. It's pretty weird. It's such a different kind of cold here then what we were use to on the California coast. It's drier here. Or something.

As for snow....the forecast says that we will be getting some, perhaps beginning tomorrow. But it doesn't sound like it is going to amount to much. I would like to have a white Christmas now that I am here! I wish I could convince the kids to come here too. Although Minneapolis is the most socialist place! I hate that, but California isn't much better. In fact, its a sad reality that I probably have lived in the most socialist places in the country! I understand that St. Paul isn´t nearly as bad. If that´s true, I sure would like to move there! We are here to help my uncle and it blows us away how much the Minneapolis govt takes away from one´s property rights! I have some major complaints in that regard. I expect to be here for at least another year, it looks like. I am sure that I will be going nose to nose with the powers that be at least a few more times. They already know who I am.
