Then you should support at least a competition for Senate Majority Leader and get someone else, perhaps Inhofe, in as Majority Leader. Trent has tried to appease and he hasn't learned it doesn't work note his not taking power immediately.

IMO, the biggest concern about Trent Lott is NOT what he said about Strom Thurmon. That was just a dumb mistake, imo. But what really bothers me is the way the whole Clinton trial was handled. There were a lot of Clinton abuses that Lott seemed way too willing to overlook.
