The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a video of the S-70 Okhotnik combat drone testing its weapon. The state-of-the-art UAV dropped a bomb to destroy the target. The video shows the Okhotnik UAV dropping a 500-kilo bomb from the inner compartment. The bomb successfully struck the ground target. In October, the chief designer of the Okhotnik drone, Sergei Bibikov, said that the control system of the UAV was outfitted with artificial intelligence. This enables the S-70 drone to work autonomously in conditions of communication failure with the operator. In July, The National Interest compared the S-70 Okhotnik drone with the F-117 Nighthawk stealth attack aircraft and the RQ-170 Sentinel drone.[video]

Not bad for the Russian Hunter UAV.

Range would be significantly reduced, but for a UAV, that’s a payload -

Future wars will be won by whoever has the economy and manufacturing base to build millions of these.

Are you listening, America? Because currently that ain’t us.

Scary stuff, if true, but with the Russians you never know. They have been known to stretch the truth from time to time.

The target was the ground.

It would be good to know he range for the Russian Hunter (UAV), with a 1,102 pound bomb. Just as important, how about a missile, and type of warhead associated with the missile.

Now I am going to need to go and look at my index to see what plausible.

The specs and potential range of the Hunter with 500 kilo ordinance is the ticket.

The good news is that it isn’t Russia, either. China, on the other hand…

Millions won’t be needed either, thousands will do.

500 kilograms with one-inch precision may be as effective as a 500 kiloton nuke.

There have been many articles of late about tech and AI in other countries. The most basic search shows the U.S is ahead in this game, every time. I would not be surprised to find DARPA or some private company (working with Gov) is light years ahead.
