American Hero, Senior Chief Petty Officer Mike Day, spent 20 of his 21 years in the Navy as a SEAL, and was awarded the Navy Cross, Silver Star and Purple Heart.
He recently published a book about his experiences, Perfectly Wounded: A Memoir About What Happens After a Miracle (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538701839/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=1538701839&linkCode=as2&tag=perfectlywo0e-20&linkId=bab2b130d0f8432f667607f6f1534587 )
I’d have to go buy a few lottery tickets to see if the Gods are still with me!!
This is what should be seen as a HERO in the United States of America. Not some celebrity, who got counseling for drug addiction. Not some minority, who graduated high school. Not some politician, who is all “woke” to maintain their status. Not some “journalist”, who lies and creates stories in order to promote a flawed point of view.
I love our SEAL’s. They are what’s left of this current PC Navy. Our favorite TV series is Seal Team. The producers go to great lengths to get it right. And yes, it has interaction and love interests for the Ladies. My Wife thinks it’s the best thing since Dallas...haha.
another one of those fishing tales. I think I could take him.../S
That is some strong mind, body, soul and spirit...
God bless him. Wow, what a fighter. Pre-Transgender PC Woke Military
That’s one Bad Mama-Jama!
100% Alpha F***ing Male.
Respect.
Runs out of ammo so he beats the last guy to death all with a severed thumb. Amazing- that’s Audie Murphy level stuff.
Talk about a real life GI joe action figure wow.
Link, she is broke.

Preview your work and expect hot links NOT to work if they are mixed in with HTML code that you have placed into your post/reply, so after posting, put the hotlink into a down-thread post. If you are quick enough, you can put it in the one occurring next, under your original post.

Perfectly Wounded: A Memoir About What Happens After a Miracle Hardcover – Illustrated, June 9, 2020
by Mike Day (Author), Robert Vera Admiral William H. McRaven (Foreword)
Bet he owns a tee shirt with the words YOU FEEL LUCKY
I’ve been on a MACV-SOG binge on YouTube
Not that I’m an expert but those guys in my opinion are the baddest assed kids who ever walked through the valley of the shadow of death and feared no evil
Over and over and over and over for months and months...3-4 missions a week ....
Them and the King Bees
And with far less tech and precision
Just pure balls
Some of the rescue missions were basically if I can wrangle a King Bee indig pilot to get me there I’ll rappel alone into canopy at night into multiple firefight with CAR to help my downed buddie
After two King Bees are already down.....NVA battalion strength or more port arms headed down the hill towards your position
I get sweaty palmed just reading like watching Alex Honold climb
All these men are badass
Trenches
Bastogne or Okinawa
Chosin
A Shau
Fallujah and northeast Afghanistan
Take your pic
But the Vietnam era MACVSOG guys were just .....cowboys....in a good way...
I don’t think they techniques would fly today
Wonder how sneaky Pete is...was he MACVSOG or Company SAD?
I know SEALS in Indochina were lean and mean.....and effective
