Mikey McBryan, youngest son of 'Buffalo' Joe McBryan both of Buffalo Airways and 'Ice Pilots' fame undertook a D-Day DC3 restoration project in DEC 2018. This DAILY vLog chronicles the progression of the restoration to resurrect a D-Day DC3 airframe that has been derelict for 27 years at the St Hubert airport in Quebec with the goal for Buffalo Joe to fly it on 06 JUN 2019, the 75th remembrance of the invasion that changed the course of WWII. The entire series is worth your time to watch, but the last 50 or so days is the actual restoration process.

As I recall from the DC-3 that called Lompoc, CA home in the 70’s, it has 50 Gal. oil tanks for each engine.
