Walking through any national cemetery is a humbling experience.

Two national cemeteries in particular, Arlington and the National Cemetery of the Pacific (The Punchbowl) will leave you speechless. In both places you can see the sacrifice of the greatest generation and those who continued to carry the torch of freedom.

I have only been to Arlington before- three times- and I must say, you’re absolutely right. The pride and honor is overwhelming, it nearly brings you to your knees
