Posted on 10/10/2008 1:10:45 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Our right to vote was secured by the courage and sacrifice of the brave men and women in our armed forces. Support Mississippi as we join other states in honoring our Veterans with a vote on Election Day.

Show your gratitude and respect for a veteran who is special to you.

* Click here to request a lapel sticker to wear to the polls in honor of a veteran. (Please indicate the quantity of stickers in the subject field of the email request form.)

* I am a veteran and would like to share my story.

* Click here to share the story of the veteran you are honoring. The stories submitted may be posted on the Vote in Honor of a Veteran website.

* To read the stories of Veterans honored by Mississippians, visit the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Veterans Gallery.

* Click here for more information on Voting in Mississippi.

Delbert had the BEST campaign ads I have ever seen. They were all positive or somewhat self effacing.

...and only 2 of the 6 listed state's links go Vet Voting pages!...some are broken links, and some state ‘document no longer available’ as is so often true on the wild woolly web!

I second that! This is a fantastic idea! I’ll promote it here in California, and to my relatives elsewhere! Pass the word!

Gotta love Mississippi!

Where’s Texas? Tag you’re now the chairman of the Texas effort! If not you, then who?
