3 hours? I was stationed about 3 hours from Atlanta at the lovely NSGA Fort Gordon.

In other news, I have been doing genealogy (well, that part isn’t news as I am always doing genealogy research) for my Anderson/Gordon clans in Henderson County NC circa 1800. I may have to take a trip up there to visit the Mills River Presbyterian Church Cemetery to take photos of the Anderson headstones and do a bit of digging for primary sources in Asheville. Granted, I can’t do it this year... I also need to make a trip to Woodbury Tennessee. Maybe I could combine the two trips.

Spring or fall would be good times. I’ve toured some battlefields in the summer and it’s just too humid!
