Our envelope was damaged also and inside the plastic bag but the manuscript wasn’t damaged. You are going to love it, Sam does. It’s good.

UNFORTUNATELY "my copy" appears to have been "run through the wringer", spilled out onto the floor, "stirred together" & an Abrams tank then driven over it. when i have an hour or more free (maybe tonight), i'm going to try & sort the "mess" they made in transit out.

Carton told me in a PM that he will resend whatever pages are not present or are illegible.

i can hardly wait to read the whole book!!!
