I think those are the perfect cars for new drivers. The kids aren't spoiled and they're probably gonna run into something anyway!
I never could make any sense out of those push button transmissions, though. I'd rather have three on the tree than one of those!

I recall the boys always wanted to rev the thing up and push two buttons at a time, probably why it didn't last long.
The training was all good until they came up with all the computerized stuff and started putting parts where you couldn't reach them unless you were a contortionist.

Hobbit Lass is getting a classic when she gets her license.
The 1987 Olds Cierra I bought when I decided I wanted a family car. Hey, it runs. It's never been wrecked and we know where it's been. LOL. Hubby just has to do a little work on it. ;^)
