Yup, finally found the current FOXHOLE! Morning all.
My brother's (not a)girlfriend got him a puppy. It's the cutest little thing. It's part German Shepherd and part Rottweiler. It has come down with parvo. I think it probably had parvo when he got it.
We met the puppy on Saturday, and I told mom that puppy had parvo then. My brother was in denial and took the puppy with him deerhunting in Brady. Sunday evening, he took the puppy to the animal emergency room, and at midnight called my mom to tell her what she already knew. I have been there and done that with my son's puppy four years ago. I do not hold out much hope for the puppy. My brother adores the puppy.
So sad about that puppy. :-( I got one like that about 15 years ago and have shied away from puppies from people I don't know since then.
I still think Schlohweiss oughtta meet your brother. Can't convince her of that though. ~sigh~
Say, do ya'll have a spot where ya'll go shoot up there at a range or something? Maybe we could moot up for that some of these days. After CHRISTmas of course.
