LOL! After years and years of desk jobs and then being a Capitalist Pig, I needed to lose the weight. It got frustrating at times but knowing it was "our" acre helped my attitude.

By the way - if you haven't gotten there yet, Andersonville is a nice day trip from where you are. The Confederate Naval Museum in Columbus would be a somewhat harder day trip. Savannah, Darien, Brunswick and St. Augustine would be more likely weekends. On a wildlife note, the Okefenokee swamp tour at Waycross is worth the trip, and I think there are supposed to be some bald eagles along the Flint.
