Yeah? My husband picked tobacco in CT as a teenager. Nasty job. And while I was in college, I picked apples to earn extra bucks. I also worked in high school as a chamber maid. These jobs are too good for today's Americans?

Here in Arizona, one cannot see nothing but Latinos at all the construction sites, I see carpenters, drywall mechanics, plumbers, et all. And eight out of ten can speak no English, or, if asked a question, in their disdain for the Gringo, they just pretend to no comprende Englis.

Hi mdittmar, offer a homeless person who is not an alcoholic minimum wage to pick fruit, and they would probably run you over to get at the tree, bush or whatever.
Hunger is a REAL motivator, ask any GI/Marine who has not eaten for a few day's because resupply is late
