A great submarine book about German submarine operations off the Atlantic Coast in WW II is Operation Drumbeat

Just read the reviews at Amazon. It's probably out of print but you can buy a used copy that will be well worth the price .

I have just finished reading my cousins books they are pretty good. Would definitely appeal more to men than women, but are still good.
