In the last two weeks the niger seed has become very popular. Time to fill the black oilseed hoppers. Bird feeding season is back around here.

My wife is always calling "Look, look!" from the window. I go look, bunch of birds, you know, and my dear wife who does not have a mean bone in her body is thrilled.

I don't mean by her not having "a mean bone in her body" that she is endlessly bright and sunny, a sort of Heidi or Pollyanna. Heh.

So figure you two may be seeing inventory moving a bit better.

LOL. Yes, inventory is moving better. We are glad for the colder weather, folks want to feed more.

To get an appreciation for the flying critters you need to look at them through binoculars or sit a spell and watch their antics.

Ask your wife for me what type of birds she is getting at her feeder, then let me know. I'll show you some close-ups.
