I got to meet Homer when he and a mutual friend sailed on my boat for about a week. Homer also used to dive on sunken German submarines and write articles about it in Skin Diver Magazine. Homer was also a tank platoon leader in Vietnam. Really a super guy.
From Homer's writings he seems a great guy. Thanks for confirming it. I had no idea he was a Vietnam vet and Armor to boot. He seems very modest.
