Oh yes, heaven forbid when we were late. It was always so sweet for everyone to look out for us. We were so late one day w_over_w called us at the store to see if we were okay. We were so touched.
Sam will be on shortly to answer everyone. He had a seed order to work on today but he'll be around hopefully before everyone goes to bed!
Yeah it is Multnomah Falls, if you ever get up his way again, I figure I owe you a dinner and a drink for being so stubborn and so wrong a few years back.
Return Salute... Two
How'd I'd know you'd be the guy with his finger in his ear. ;-)
Mean Spirited? You? You should have Snippy tell you about my "attitude" some time. I've always enjoyed your posts and comments, lots of time you put into words what I was thinking. Thanks for the support you've given us over the years, it has been appreciated.
To everybody else I would like to point out how much time it takes to put together a thread. The last thread I did on the Battleships I spent over three straight hours sitting at the computer to put the thread together. On the other two threads I posted I probably spent two hours straight to get the thread up. This is not counting the time I spent in pre- production work.
The point of all this rambling is to try and give folks an idea on just how long it takes to post a Foxhole. Even if you know what your doing, and I wish I did, I figure it's about an hour and half minimum to post a decent thread.
SO any how hats off to SAM, snippy and Anti-Jen for almost three years of Foxhole threads. I reckon that there were in excess of 4000 effort hours in just posting the Foxhole threads over the last almost three years and that ain't counting any research time.
One more pic for the loyal denizens of the Freeper Foxhole. A classic aircraftr for a couple of classy folks :-)

Hi Johnny. Loved your "Air Power" posts, they always gave me an excuse to post some great aircraft pictures.
I hope things are working out for you too. Things sure have changed over the last couple years, not out of the rough spots yet but things are looking better.
Evening E.G.C. I'm gonna have to search for ya every so often so I can find out what updates are coming out.
You're the first post that brought tears to my eyes this morning. I'm sure I'll find some interesting WBTS battle or skirmish to post and I'll be sure to ping you. This day makes me feel like the day I had to put down my first dog, I thought that was hard, almost feel like a part of me is being amputated. :-(
Thanks Gridlock. At times it's been fun to go back and look up some older threads and reread the comments.
You're welcome Mr Ducklips, we hope you enjoyed some of them as much as we enjoyed putting them together.
Snippy and I always appreciated the "rare poster but daily reader", we knew you guys were out there.
Thanks alfa6. LOL. I can't believe you aren't on the ping list. How did that happen?
Jen posted the first thread, that's all, everyone after that was Sam until I came along. Jen was instrumental in getting permission from JR to have a daily back then but I have to step in to say the work was all done by Sam.
That being said the hardest part is finding pictures or drawings to go with material you find which usually does not have pictures. Then deciding where you want them within the articles. Coming up with ideas takes time too, especially after 1,000 of them are already done. LOL. First the idea, then find the material, then the pictures then put it all together. Phew!
We truly did love it when we had the time, it was a labor of love.
I have seldom posted here but did spend a good deal of time reading the intro to each thread.

Thanks for your service Fredhead and your dad's.
Great pic alfa6. Thanks for all the support you've given Snipp and I and the Foxhole. Feel free to keep posting your threads as "The Freeper Foxhole" whenever the fancy hits you, you have the template, just remember to ping Snippy and I. :-)
Thanks Steelerfan. We really wish we could keep going daily, but we put off this decision as long as we could.
P.S.
You have two new EMAILS. ;-)
PE. Thanks for all the laughs, sharing Bitty Girl and Spider boy with us. I always looked forward to your Flag-O-Gram wondering what you'd come up with and what "size" it would be.
P.S. You're still in charge of BicycleSpankenTruppen (which shows up in Google) recruitment.
Thanks Victoria. We'll see you around FR I'm sure.
