And back up early too. Got a lot done this morning - but I may need a nap in a bit. Might as well have one and take some advantage of this unemployed state. I have my house 98% packed up and now just need the rain to stop for a few days so I can haul it south!

We had some thunder and lightning move through here this morning. It's all clearing out right now.
We went to town to get some stuff for the dog.
Congress can create territory then. Wonder if there was a South Ohio Ocean before they created the territory? ~wink~
Had a whole heck of a lot of thunder, lighening and rain here too. And I got caught out in it! LOL Soaked to the bone!

Got up early for going to bed so late. Did some more packing/sorting, went for my 2nd day of doctor authorized walking (loving that), dug up a shrub from my yard that I want to move with me (hard to find one), got soaked cause it started raining cats and dogs about the time I got the thing halfway dug - LOL, came in - dried off - had tea, packed some more, made lunch, washed dishes and sat down to rest a bit.
We sure had some of those major Texas temp changes in the last few days huh? I had to shut my windows last night! Got cold!
Early this week while we were having those triple digit temps I heard the weatherman say we're over 4 inches short of rain this year. In an area this arid that's a high percentage behind. Sooo.... I know I'm probably the only person in Wichita county who thinks the rain should stop. LOL
