It is unfortunate to note that there appear to be many people in Israel who do not trust Ariel Sharon. I find this point of view incomprehensible. I guess there are fools, and damned fools, everywhere.

Reconnaissance units in the IDF are elite units. Their training, at least in the past, is first class plus.

The IDF Parachute units during the 1973 era look to me to be the best assault troops in the world. Their assault on the Jordanian positions during the Battle for Jerusalem in 1967 was professional in the highest degree.
