I was a sea cadet in the mid 70's and went out on the higbee a few times out of Long Beach

We chased the Carrier Coral Sea up and down the coast while she did air ops Froze my little Beeber off pulling watch at night that picture was how she was configured "ASROC deck "

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane

She was sunk in I think in 1979 or 80 as a target
