Yeah, now that you mention it . . . I remember a political cartoon in the Houston Post that had camels inside the fuselage of US F-86s charging the front line. I quess this was the depiction of the Iranian Air Force.
Seriously, as best as I can recall, that was an insane war. But then it was Iran/Iraq.
