This one is a rock (almost like pebbles) walkway laid over concrete, there's some sort of epoxy bonding agent that hold it together. The closet thing I can compare it to would be pouring a concrete sidewalk or floor. We'll post a picture for you when it's done.
I did one of those 20+ years ago. Wow I'm gettin old..
We poured the concrete and poured the stones on top of it.
Then lightly tamped the stones into the wet concrete.
Of course that was a long time ago and there is most likely a better way to do it.
