side note....up on her forward section....just aft of the gun mount..is a bank of Mark 38 Torpedo tubes.
Guess USS Barry accidently discharged a torpedo into the deck house of the USS Decatuer(DD 936) moored alongside in Newport, Rhode Island in 1963 : )

I certainly did. Very cool stuff. I went throught the Marine Corp Museum as well. The guys who signed the guest book immediately before me were a group of Her Majesty's Royal Marines.
