They're probably saying that over at Dummies Unlimited.
Matter of fact, a couple months back someone there paranoidly stated that they wouldn't doubt something like this would happen.
But they parsed it by saying that it'd be 'planted' instead.

Nevermind that it's already been stated that the markings were removed or painted over, and that it was of Iraqi origin supposedly of 'stock left over after Desert Storm'.
(Yet another point the left is spinning, that it's 'old stock' and thus means nothing.)
