Anti-magnetic mine pasteThe German infantry used magnetic mines for destoying armor. They delevopled the paste for applying to German tanks so that magnetic mines couldn't "stick" to the hull or turret, the problem was that Germany's enemies never really developed or used magnetic mines to any large extent. So the Germans wasted a lot of time and resources defending against a threat that didn't really exist for them.
