I used to work in a chemical plant as a mixer operator, 12hrs on 12 off, 12 days on 2 off, I did that for the better part of 9 years. I REALLY don't want anymore OT.
I have a tendency to get a little...testy after 40 hrs.

I'm with you on that one. Unfortunately, in my line of work it was pretty common. (And unpaid, the drawback to a salary). I'd do it when it was necessary but NEVER volunteered for it like some others. I had a life outside of work.

USS Bush (Destroyer # 166, later DD-166), 1919-1936

USS Bush, a 1060-ton Little class destroyer, was built at Quincy, Massachusetts. Commissioned in February 1919, she operated in the East Coast area for the next three years, sometimes in reduced commission and Naval Reserve training roles. Bush was placed out of commission in June 1922 and remained in reserve at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, Pennsylvania, until stricken from the list of Navy ships in January 1936. She was sold for scrapping in September of that year.
