I make hash browns a couple of different ways. One is just to dice potatoes and fry 'em with salt or some seasoning. Another is to shred the potatoes, mix them with butter and salt and fry 'em in a thin layer till their crisp. Good eatin'

That's my favorite method. Diced is my secoond. Although I won't turn down "home fries"
