Keep reading the post, it has one guy that knew one of Kerry's crew members and it fits what I am thinking. I was thinking what I was thinking before I found that particular information. It is down toward the end of the post. Mine should be last.

"I was in the 533 pbr Gamewardens of vietnam. I was a gun tub gunner on a 31 ft. patrol boat. Kerry was on a swift boat a 1/2 mile down river from us.I knew Tom his stearn gunner. He told me his j.g was a premadona sent there to get medales. He thought kenndy's riged the whole thing. Our job was to drop off navy seals and to exsrtact then before thay were killed. I only got one purple hart and the other hundred scars we got nothing. no one got three purple harts in three months. No one got the silver star for killing vietcong that attacted your boat. I was on that dam river as a river rat for 18 months. and killed over 60 in two different fire fights. This whole kerry hero crap is just that crap. The man doesn't even have a scar.He got three nicks and thay gave three purple harts so he could sent home and become a Admrials aid So there you got someone that was there."

This one? Makes my skin crawl. I read you post too. Yours is right all the way.
