During Tet 68 I was in Korea again doing EOD work. We had many episodes of the North Koreans coming into South Korea and raiding villages. Those who resisted were killed by them and it didn't matter how old they were. This never made the world wide news. I saw it with my own eyes.
I was in Vietnam in 1972 during the Easter Offensive when the NVA attacked. There was a place south of Quang Tri where NVA tanks attacked civilians trying to flee the fighting. As far as you could see up and down the roads there was nothing but dead civilians and burnt out buses and automobiles. People who couldn't fight back.

I know what you mean. I've also heard rumors the illegl drugs could be found at a Grateful Dead concert. While I would never partake of any (that would be wrong, and I was a clean-cut, true-blue, all American young man) that's the rumor.
