A great book about this subject is "Queen of the Midnight Skies"
The Night fighter association just recently folded, too .

me neither. in my case it's to make 210 grain SWC lead bullets for my colt's DS & for my S&W Mod.65 4-inch.
210 grains of soft lead @ 720FPS OR @ 950FPS is a WORLDSHAKER at the K5 area!

You should always be friends with your local EOD Detachment, especially the ones who "destroy" a lot of unservicable ammunition.
While in Vietnam, I owned an entire bunker of 7.62mmX39 ammo made at Lake City Arsenal plus I had a lot of old 30-06 ammo. I was very well liked I think because I was invited to a lot or parties for some reason.
