Everything I've read about the Aleutian Campaign talks about the miserable conditions there. I can't even imagine what it was like to be on a ship in weather and temperatures like that.

I can't even imagine what it was like to be on a ship in weather and temperatures like that. Oh, and I can't even imagine being on a submarine. I would be one of those people who goes crazy and tries to escape.
