I had the pleasure of being able to visit the USS Missouri when she docked at Astoria on her way to Pearl.

Hi Sam...that must have been a profound moment,..the sheer size of the Famous Lady.

Sad..Great Britian had some smart looking Battleships..the socialists sent them to the chop immediatetly after the war..
I think the last sharp looker...HMS Vanguard made it into the 50's
