Yep. I wonder if the Chinese would have moved into the border area if we hadn't. I tend to think they really didn't want to fight us unless they felt they had to because they had just finished off the nationalists after a long and bloody war, which itself followed WWII.

I've aways thought the Chinese and North Korean Governments very paranoid, but I guess if your running a Communist dictatorship, it just comes with the job.
