When I arrived at the airport in my home State of NY, I had retrieved my luggage, was greeted by the Limo Driver and told we had to wait for other passengers. I opted to wait outside the terminal and smell NY air!
I sat down next to a young Army Pvt. I thanked him for his service to our nation. We started chatting in earnest. I told him about FR and learned this young man is a Conservative Republican, and an avid Rush fan.

He was awiting to be picked up by someone from Fort Drum, Watertown, NY. He was headed of course, to the 10th Mountain Division. Bless he heart. He is 18 years young, orginally from CA, but grew up in Texas. Whoo hoo!! We exchanged email addies, and I asked his permission to talk about him here and to post his name on the Prayer Thread.

Also, I told him about The Fox Hole. He is going to look in very soon.
We chatted for almost one hour in the very cool NY night air.
I felt this was a serendipitous event.
From my own experience I know we can be so very proud of young men as he.

I invitied him to join, or to lurk, whichever he wished.
I ask special thoughts and prayers for all our Military guys and gals. I have been so blessed to meet this young man.

May God continue to bless our great nation.

The joke there is to 'find the mountain in the 10th mountain!'
Good luck to him, Drum is a fun, and odd in it's geologic quirks, place to wander.
