Katyn cannot sleep
hear the lamenting of the slaughtered masses
never forget what happened here
the soul of the Polish nation
was poured out on this forest soil
but it did not die here
you cannot kill the spirit of freedom
or the pride of a nation that desires it

Good Morning Snippy.
Excellent job on the Katyn Massacre. Beautiful Poem.
I heard about Katyn, the Uprising and the Soviet occupation from my Dad as a child when I was old enough to ask why he hated the Russians so much.
