As much as I agree with the overall sentiment of your post, as an ethology (animal behavior) major, I have to correct your misinterpretation of biological imperative.

The vast majority of male-male combat is highly ritualized, and the loser retreats either without actual combat, or with minor combat and no real injuries. (Of course, there are exceptions, and the chimpanzee example you cited is one of them.) Female-female combat, on the other hand, is always a no-holds-barred bloodfest, where even the winner may end up dying of injuries. Therefore, women are as made to fight other women as men are to fight other men -- perhaps even moreso.

What women are NOT designed to do is fight MEN, who (in mammals, at any rate) are usually larger and stronger than women. This is the biological argument in favor of removing women from the arena of combat: despite what feminists would have everyone believe, women are NOT the physical equal of men.

As for the rest of it, I agree, even though I've seen far more guys than gals get sick at the thought of dissecting a specimen!
