Cruz understands conservative principles. His instincts are conservative. He does not need assistants to tell him what would be a conservative viewpoint- unlike certain other candidates.

After the election we are confident we still have Cruz with his conservative instincts. The other candidate's assistants can be fired as they are no longer needed.

Federal lands are missing from the tax base. It would be better to have those lands in private hands where they have a chance of producing revenue.
